About this role Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Strategist to join our Fundamental Equities team in Japan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing product strategies that align with our company's goals and market demands. This role requires a deep understanding of the Japanese market, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement product strategies that align with the company's overall vision and objectives. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and development, to ensure successful product launches and lifecycle management. Define product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategies tailored to the Japanese market. Monitor and analyze product performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize and enhance product offerings. Communicate product strategy and vision to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in across the organization. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in product strategy, product management, or a related role, preferably within the Japanese market. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in both Japanese and English. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong understanding of the Japanese market, consumer behavior, and cultural nuances. Preferred Skills: Experience in the technology or consumer goods industry. Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development processes.
