Main Purpose:
As our Fundamental Power Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing market trends, forecasting demand and supply dynamics, and providing actionable insights to guide our trading strategies in the European energy markets. Your expertise will directly contribute to our growth and success in navigating the complex and evolving energy landscape.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of the European power markets, including regulatory changes, supply-demand balances, and price drivers.
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models to predict market movements and price trends.
  • Collaborate with our trading and quantitative teams to inform strategies with data-driven insights.
  • Present analysis and recommendations to internal stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in power market analysis, preferably with a focus on European markets.
  • Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. PhD would be a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • A proactive and inquisitive mindset, with a passion for the energy sector.
