SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or business disciplines

  • 5+ years of combined experience in technical/commercial roles, investment banking, and/or management consulting

  • Low Carbon / Energy Transition or Oil & Gas experience
  • Experience in prior business analysis / financial roles with strong experience in MS Excel modeling, PowerPoint, Tableau
  • Familiarity with financial concept (NPV, cashflow, ROI, etc.) and financial modelling
  • Strong top-down and structured communication with ability to present complex ideas to an executive audience
  • Ability to effectively influence others without authority

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of combined experience in technical and commercial roles, investment banking, and/or management consulting

  • Ability to drive impact working with a diverse group of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

  • Exhibit deep curiosity, demonstrating strategic thinking to drive long term growth
  • Demonstrated experience in large, international organizations
Responsibilities

WHAT ROLE YOU WILL PLAY IN OUR TEAM

  • Drive commercial optimization activities in Low Carbon Solutions using business analysis, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide data-driven business recommendations to further develop a competitive stance in the CCUS / Hydrogen / O&G markets.
  • This is an office-based position located at the ExxonMobil Campus in Spring, Texas.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop complex financial models and communication material to support commercial optimization activities in Low Carbon Solutions at ExxonMobil.
  • Analyze and derive business insights from financial modeling and engage a wide range of stakeholders to build consensus.
  • Lead development and recommendations for various market analysis in the CCUS / Hydrogen / O&G markets for effective decision making.
  • Engage multiple teams / workflows to drive consistency with data flow process and quality.
  • Interface with data scientists and IT to collaborate in the creation of solutions to support business decisions.
  • Manage relationships with senior leaders across different groups within Low Carbon Solutions and ExxonMobil.
  • Provide recommendations, obtain alignment, and provide regular updates to ExxonMobil management on commercial optimization opportunities.
