For full details about this varied and rewarding role, please see attached job description, but some of the responsibilities include To process and log all patient funding requests and forward to the various ICBs for approval To understand and use the various Commissioners Service Restriction Policies, keeping abreast of any changes and advising relevant departments accordingly To understand 18 weeks referral to treatment (RTT) pathway rules in order to prioritise funding for elective patients effectively To liaise with Consultants, Medical secretarys, GP Practices, ICBs and patients to complete funding applications and obtain missing information To work alongside, and cooperatively, with Patient Access staff and other Admin teams to ensure a seamless process from beginning to end To recognise patients on a cancer pathway and liaise with Cancer Services MDT co-ordinators to ensure patients are dealt with appropriately To oversee the administration of funding requests to the relevant ICB to ensure that the Commissioners Clinical Priority Policy is me
