In this role, you'll have face-to-face conversations with members of the public, sharing the impact of important nonprofit organizations and inspiring people to support meaningful causes. Every conversation has the potential to create lasting change. No previous fundraising experience is required. If you've worked in customer service, retail, hospitality, restaurants, sales, events, promotions, or enjoy talking with people, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Engage members of the public in friendly, face-to-face conversations * Represent respected charitable organizations professionally and enthusiastically * Inspire people to become monthly donors supporting important causes * Meet individual and team fundraising goals * Work outdoors with a supportive and motivated team * Develop valuable communication, public speaking, and leadership skills WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * At least 18 years old * Authorized to work in the United States * Looking for consistent full-time hours (preferred) * Comfortable working outdoors * Strong communication and active listening skills * Positive attitude and willingness to learn * Reliable, punctual, and dependable * Comfortable approaching and speaking with new people * Able to work independently and as part of a team Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, restaurants, serving, bartending, sales, marketing, brand ambassador, community outreach, canvassing, fundraising, or nonprofit work is an asset–but not required.
