About the role Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is seeking an enthusiastic Fundraising & Events Coordinator to join our dynamic Fundraising & Communications team during an exciting season of growth and transformation. Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, you’ll be the glue of our fundraising team—providing vital support across all areas of fundraising. This is a varied and exciting new role that includes planning, organising and executing fundraising events, as well as supporting the wider team with administration, supporter engagement, and general fundraising operations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our supporters feel valued and connected to the mission, whether through personalised communications, event-related calling, or assisting with campaign and church engagement activities. Key areas of responsibility include: Coordinate and execute fundraising events from concept to completion Support donor engagement through personalised communications, church talk and event follow-ups Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth event delivery Maintain accurate records and reporting for fundraising activities Assist with campaign planning, church talks and supporter care initiatives Availability to work weekends and after hours due to fundraising events About you You are excited to bring your knowledge of event management and expertise to enable the greatest possible impact for whānau experiencing money chaos in Aotearoa.
