  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in related field.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a finance or similar role.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Experience with bookkeeping considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Direct Response channels an asset
  • Experience with data extraction and analysis considered an asset.
  • Raiser’s Edge, experience an asset.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Associate Director of Direct Response this position is responsible for supporting the direct response team to ensure the administrative effectiveness of the department and the accurate online and offline campaign tracking, timely expense processing and data accuracy in the Raiser’s Edge. This position also includes the management of archival and current campaign samples, test tracking from art, components, insertion and delivery status, and interfaces with internal staff and external vendors to ensure a smooth operating system.

This role consists of approximately 50% Reconciliation Processes and 50% Administrative Duties.

  • Initiate the purchasing and payment process for campaigns, which includes purchase orders, EFT payments, cost allocations and reconciliation per expense budget.
  • Ensure all budgets and transactions are recorded in Raisers Edge accurately within a timely manner.
  • Track overall financial revenue and expenses per campaign budget in a timely manner.
  • Work with cross functional teams in a variety of capacities to ensure accurate and appropriate coding, data integrity and timely uploads of all necessary data.
  • Work with Associate Director to develop and track performance of campaigns including projections.
  • Communicates with suppliers to verify qualities, resolve inaccuracies, delays that affect campaign delivery and budgets.
  • Ensure data hygiene throughout Raisers Edge as it relates to campaign and fund codes.
  • Work with digital team to make any updates to donation pages as needed.
  • Organize and file both physical appeal packages and digital campaign samples, monitoring and tracking mail appeal seed list, delivery log and reporting any delivery delays that could affect appeal package results.
  • Support the development of campaign briefing documents for data and donor services teams.
  • Update and maintain direct response campaign schedule via shared communication calendar.
  • Provide administrative support to Associate Director of Direct Response.
  • Other duties as assigned.
