JOB DESCRIPTION – FUNDRAISING MANAGER

Location: Hybrid – Lymington Office / Home working option
Hours: Part-time - 24 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience), pro rata (actual £18,000 – £21,000 per year for 24 hours per week)
Reporting to: CEO

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

You will lead day-to-day fundraising and help shape a sustainable income strategy across trusts, businesses and individual giving. You will build warm relationships, run campaigns and events, and champion our story so more people with enduring mental health challenges can thrive.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the CEO to develop and deliver a fundraising strategy aligned to the charity’s goals.
  • Identify and apply to relevant trusts and foundations, meeting deadlines for submissions.
  • Secure income from a mix of sources including trusts, corporate partners, local businesses, individual donors and community fundraising.
  • Create and deliver communication campaigns to encourage donations and raise awareness.
  • Organise fundraising events and activities, maximising income and engagement.
  • Use web-based fundraising tools such as online auctions as required.
  • Recruit, support and motivate volunteers to contribute to fundraising efforts.
  • Nurture existing supporters to maintain and grow regular donations, while inspiring new supporters through relationship development.
  • Produce clear and accurate reports to track fundraising performance against targets.
  • Prepare and submit timely impact reports to funders.
  • Maintain and update the donor database.
  • Work closely with the CEO and wider team to achieve income targets.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the role.
  • Occasional travel within Hampshire and to London for events, donor engagement and meetings with funders.
