YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor or Master of Arts in Business Administration, Marketing, Fundraising, Sponsoring, Communication or equivalent, e.g. 4-5 years of experience in project management, fundraising, foundation management, relationship management
  • Engaging ‘people person’ with outstanding communication skills and the ability to build positive and sustainable relationships
  • Quick perception and emphatic understanding of the structures of an international school in the Munich economic area
  • Enjoy working in a small team with great passion and hands-on mentality
  • Ability and enjoyment to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritise efficiently
  • Administrative and technological skills, e.g. qualified, very confident handling of software tools, databases, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Experience in the organisation and coordination of events
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)

ABOUT US

The Bavarian International School gAG (BIS) is a private, non-profit all-day school with two campuses in the north of Munich (Haimhausen) and in Schwabing. 1,250 students from 70 nations attend the IB World School. Under the motto “Believe. Inspire. Succeed”, students enjoy a holistic, personalised and innovative education in English. Responsibilities
  • Organisation, conception, communication & implementation of all fundraising campaigns and events (e.g. Capital Campaign, Annual Fund, Scholarship Programme, Fundraising Dinner etc.)
  • Temporary focus on support for the Creativity & Innovation Centre (CIC) currently under construction at the Haimhausen Campus
  • Leadership and management of the non-profit Friends of BIS e.V. association (communication, member care, administration, meetings, etc.)
  • Management and expansion of the BIS scholarship programme, e.g. supervision of existing scholarships, announcement of new scholarships and acquisition of new donors
  • Researching relevant contacts from the internal BIS community, external stakeholders and identifying potential major donors
  • Support in the acquisition of donations, sponsorship, advertising and cooperation partners
  • Relaunch of the BIS merchandising shop
  • Implementation and supervision of the fundraising policy
  • Implementation of administrative donation management
