OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and physically capable delivery driver to join our high-end furniture business. This role is crucial in ensuring our products are transported safely and efficiently between suppliers, workshops, and customers across the UK. You will represent our brand during every delivery, providing a first-class experience for our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Full, clean UK driving licence (experience with vans or larger vehicles preferred).
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver, ideally within furniture, interiors, or a similar industry.
  • Physically fit, with the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items safely.
  • Professional appearance, good communication skills, and strong customer focus.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and occasionally stay overnight for long-distance deliveries.
Responsibilities
  • Safely deliver and collect furniture, components, and materials from local suppliers, workshops, and showrooms.
  • Transport heavy, finished furniture pieces to customers across the UK, ensuring timely and damage-free delivery.
  • Load and unload goods with care, using appropriate lifting equipment to prevent damage.
  • Provide a professional, friendly, and respectful service to clients during deliveries.
  • Position and assemble furniture on-site where required, leaving delivery areas clean and tidy.
  • Maintain the delivery vehicle in clean, roadworthy condition and perform basic vehicle checks.
  • Accurately complete delivery notes, report any damage or discrepancies, and communicate schedule updates to the operations team.
  • Follow manual handling procedures and comply with all road safety and company health & safety policies.
