Description:
REQUIREMENTS:
Post-secondary education in either Marketing or Business Communications.
3+ years of experience in a Marketing or Communications role within a furniture manufacturer or furniture retailer, or in an advertising agency or marketing communications company.
Experience working in the residential furniture industry will be an advantage.
Knowledge and experience with traditional and digital marketing tools.
Experience in creative, that is in writing for print, digital communications, and social media.
Skilled in Mobile Videography & Photography, Capturing & Editing and in Digital tools (Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, JavaScript, etc.)
Responsibilities:
This position reports directly to the Company COO.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing Branding, Marketing and Advertising campaigns for the company and its affiliates.
You will need to think strategically in terms of target identification, strategy development, communication, execution and assessment of effectiveness.
Execution will include traditional media and increasingly the use of online and social media channels.
Ensure consistency and cohesiveness of our brand identity across all projects, materials, and platforms.
Design and develop a diverse array of marketing materials, including digital and print media formats.
Manage and grow our online presence, by creating and curating relevant content to use across multiple social media platforms.
Generate and analyze impactful campaigns, engaging promotions and targeted advertisements.
Produce engaging blog posts, comprehensive email campaigns, and informative newsletters to effectively communicate and connect with the company’s various audiences.
Write SEO optimized copy, compelling headlines, captions and effective hashtags while developing strategies to drive sales, web traffic, and grow engagement.
Identify gaps within our marketing strategies and develop key touch points.
