The Salvation Army’s Harvestfield Furniture Project in Berwick upon Tweed is a large charity furniture recycling project that sells almost everything from clothes and bric-a-brac to large furniture and white goods, as well as looking at effective ways of providing support and assistance to those in need, while serving customers and supporting the day-to-day operations in the shop.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role you will be required to contribute to the efforts of the existing team in supporting a dynamic furniture project, towards operational and missional objectives. Your primary role will be driving a van delivering and collecting furniture as part of the delivery team.
You will also be required to carry out warehouse duties as directed by team leader.
The successful candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills, and professional telephone manner.
