Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Furniture Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. If you have a flair for design and a passion for customer service, we want to hear from you! Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our product range and current trends.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Create visually appealing displays to highlight products.
- Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Assisting in unpacking, pricing and distributing items to correct areas of store.
- daily cleaning to keep sales floor visually-appealing
- Processing sales orders and maintaining the sales database.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous retail or sales experience, preferably in furniture or home décor.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
- A keen eye for design and an understanding of current trends.
- Basic computer skills for processing sales and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google documents
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
