Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Furniture Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. If you have a flair for design and a passion for customer service, we want to hear from you! Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our product range and current trends.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Create visually appealing displays to highlight products.
  • Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Assisting in unpacking, pricing and distributing items to correct areas of store.
  • daily cleaning to keep sales floor visually-appealing
  • Processing sales orders and maintaining the sales database.
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous retail or sales experience, preferably in furniture or home décor.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
  • A keen eye for design and an understanding of current trends.
  • Basic computer skills for processing sales and inventory management.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google documents
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
