Description Position Summary: The Showroom Associate role is responsible for general warehouse labor and maintenance for two Showroom locations. This position is physical in nature and will require the individual to be able to stand, lift, bend, and reach. The most important attribute of this role is positivity, willingness to learn, and grow. Essential Functions Statement(s): Lead and manage the showroom team Ensure that the client's experience is the number one priority. Loading and unloading of delivery trucks consisting of home decor items and furniture. Picking customer orders and moving to delivery staging areas. Maintaining cleanliness of all areas in the Showroom by sweeping, breaking down boxes, cleaning up trash and keeping inventory organized. Taking trash cans out on Monday’s and Thursday’s and bringing back inside on Tuesday and Friday mornings. Transporting merchandise to and from the showroom and helping to maintain presentation by arranging furniture and art pieces. Hanging artwork as needed and filling in holes on floor and on wall. Acting as a handyman where needed – patching holes in wall, fixing a leak in ceiling, etc. Wrapping up furniture and artwork and loading into customer’s cars as needed. Taking fabric rolls from bay at Howell to Woodall several times a week. Maintaining stock of supplies including light bulbs, chain, hardware, etc. Other general warehouse duties and any tasks as assigned by Management. Perform special projects as needed and/or assigned by Management. Requirements Education, Experience, & Certifications: High School Diploma or GED Clear background check, driving history, and drug test are required for this role. Valid drivers license required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Problem-solving skills to handle customer complaints and production issues Clear knowledge of Warehouse and Showroom operations Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, ability to change course quickly Ability to take ownership of assigned projects Maintains a friendly and positive (upstairs) attitude Will promote the edgy and unique voice of the brand
