COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Our client is a leading brand in the furniture industry, renowned for its premium home furnishings and flooring solutions across Ireland. With multiple store locations, they offer competitive prices and exceptional customer service. They are currently seeking to hire 2 experienced Store Managers to oversee a team of Sales Executives and ensure the continued success of their stores in North and West Dublin.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Previous experience managing a furniture store.
  • Proven track record in managing teams, driving sales, and achieving targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in sales reporting, scheduling, and basic financial management.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing a team of Sales Executives, and driving the store’s performance in line with company goals. You will ensure the highest standards of customer service, store presentation, and sales targets are consistently met. This is an ideal role for a proactive, results-driven individual with strong leadership experience, looking to further their career in retail management.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage store operations, including sales, inventory, and merchandising.
  • Drive sales growth and ensure profitability by setting targets and performance goals for the team.
  • Support, coach, and develop team members, including the Sales Executive, to enhance their skills and drive a customer-focused sales approach.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service throughout the store, resolving escalated customer concerns as needed.
  • Oversee the visual presentation of the store to ensure it is attractive, well-organized, and aligned with company standards.
  • Manage staffing schedules and ensure the store is adequately staffed during all business hours.
  • Analyze sales data and trends with Regional Sales Manager, implementing strategies to increase revenue and improve operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to drive improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
