Future Advisor Training Program Description: In this training program, participants will be offered the opportunity to learn about the financial services industry from the expertise of a Financial Professional who focuses on Wealth Management, Financial Protection products and strategies, and Estate Planning strategies. Participants will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of activities: Learning how to prepare for meetings with clients and prospective clients Learning the importance of, and how to prepare, presentations to clients and prospective clients Learning how to research client portfolios and the importance of such research in the role of a Financial Professionals Attending in-house training sessions regarding issues relevant to the industry, including compliance rules and regulations and product training Observing sales techniques to learn effective presentation skills Participants will also be provided training to enhance their learning experience, leveraging a combination of ‘self-paced’, virtual, and branch training in the following categories: Selling Skills Market Development Product Knowledge Practice Management Program details: Rate - $22/hr Hours - up to 18 hours/week Location - Onsite (Mon-Fri) - 6050 Oak Tree Blvd, Suite 320, Independence, OH 44131 Duration - up to 26 weeks Required Qualifications College students entering Junior or Senior year Ability to work up to 18 hours per week for a maximum of 26 weeks Business/Finance major or equivalent, as determined by the Executive Vice President in his/her sole discretion 3.0 or higher grade point average Desire to be in financial sales Actively involved in local community and exhibits leadership skills (e.g. fraternity/sorority involvement, sports teams, community service, campus clubs, associations, etc.) Must be driven, have an entrepreneurial spirit and be results-oriented Excellent oral and written communication skills ABOUT EQUITABLE At Equitable, we’re a team committed to helping our clients secure their financial well-being so that they can pursue long and fulfilling lives.
