  • Development of new tools for new make component development .
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new tooling and support equipment projects.
  • Certification reports, design practice and design record book and definition solutions accounting for layouts, clash checks, materials, weights, and tolerances.
  • Perform tool validation and testing to ensure functionality and reliability. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for tooling-related issues on the production floor.
  • In depth knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing methods. Advise upon novel manufacturing methods, liaise with supply-chain.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental policies, championing a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Capable of design and development of new, modification and improvement in component Manufacture.
  • Capable to perform 3D modelling, update and definition (generating detailed drawings) in CAD software using NX.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, collaborate with cross-functional teams in requirements capture and execution, stay updated on emerging technologies, designs, and manufacturing methods. Problem solver and contribute to innovating ideas in New Product Introduction (NPI) programmes.
