The Future Talent Internship Programme ("FTIP") is a structured 10-week internship designed to provide students with meaningful, hands-on experience in Transaction Banking. FTIP offers an opportunity to work on real-world projects, gain industry insights, and receive mentorship from experienced professionals. Through this program, students will develop practical skills, broaden their understanding of banking operations, and build a strong foundation for a successful career in financial services. What You’ll Do As an intern in our Transaction Banking team, you will gain hands-on experience and contribute to meaningful projects that support our business growth. Your responsibilities may include: Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing product and client data, including deposit and trade transaction trends. Research Support: Conduct market and competitor research to support product development initiatives. Client Engagement: Help create client pitch materials and presentation decks. Process Improvement: Participate in process enhancement and digitization projects where applicable. Eligibility Criteria: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a recognized higher learning institution in Malaysia, pursuing a degree in Banking, Finance, Information Technology, Accounting, or Business Administration, where internship is a mandatory component for course completion. Candidates must be in their final year of study. Minimum CGPA of 3.0 and above, or the equivalent Available to work full time for 10 weeks commencing January 2026. Proficient in English (spoken and written). Japanese would be an advantage. Strong interest in Transaction Banking, particularly in cash management, trade finance, and client solutions. Note: Interns will receive an allowance of RM1,500 per month. Please note that due to high volume of applications we receive, we will only contact the shortlisted candidates.
