JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships is currently seeking a Student Assistant to join our Federal Programs team. In this role, you will assist our coordinators with data entry while learning financial aid processing.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing and sorting of incoming custodial scholarship mail.
  • Scanning mail documents.
  • Auditing and organizing scholarship check information.
  • Assisting with outreach and cases.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.

This position will start Fall 2025 and will continue through subsequent semesters.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a current UF student
  • Must be eligible for Federal Work Study
  • Must be available to work 15 hours a week

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of Mac OS operating system
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications
