Description

Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications. Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using React and TypeScript. Develop scalable back-end services using Node.js. Design, optimise, and maintain MySQL databases. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs between frontend and backend services. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA Engineers, and other Software Engineers throughout the SDLC. Troubleshoot application issues and implement bug fixes and performance improvements. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies. Ensure application quality through unit testing, integration testing, and continuous improvement. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience developing modern full-stack web applications. Mandatory technical skills: React Node.js TypeScript MySQL Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend development practices. Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. Familiarity with Git and version control workflows. Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment. Nice to Have Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Docker or containerisation technologies. Knowledge of automated testing frameworks. Exposure to CRM, CMS, or citizen-facing digital products.
