Overview

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Math Tutor to join our dynamic teaching team and work with students in Grades 9–12. This is a paid position for someone with a strong background in mathematics or a related STEM field who enjoys working with students and is committed to helping them build confidence, strengthen their mathematical skills, and achieve their academic goals. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable educator who can explain challenging mathematical concepts clearly, create engaging lessons, and adapt instruction to meet the needs of students with different learning styles and academic levels.

Duties

  • Deliver clear, engaging instruction in math concepts, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and more
  • Support students with special education needs by adapting teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
  • Track student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to motivate continued improvement
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages questions, curiosity, and active participation

Experience

  • A strong academic background in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or another related STEM field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience teaching or tutoring students in small-group classes.
  • Previous experience teaching high school mathematics (Grades 9–12) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of high school mathematics, including topics such as algebra, functions, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Reliable, responsible, patient, and enthusiastic about working with students.
  • Available to teach after school and on weekends

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
