EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Information Systems, or Accounting is preferred.
  • 7+ years’ experience in portfolio management, operations, fund accounting or other areas with exposure to private markets and the leveraged loan market.
  • Project management experience is preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Organized and able to quickly adapt in a multifaceted environment with large volume, high-risk transactions with a low tolerance for error
  • Works both independently and as part of a team; actively seeks additional responsibilities
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Outstanding academic achievement, broad-based work experience, and demonstrated leadership skills

    For Wilmington, DE Only the salary range for this position is USD$82,000.00 - USD$108,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. Responsibilities

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY

  • Demonstrate product and functional knowledge of the loan and fixed income markets to communicate with the business and trading counterparties.
  • Improve execution to boost efficiency and effectiveness of alternative operations
  • Work together with internal cross-functional teams (including technology, operations, and finance) and external collaborators, to develop and implement integration plans
  • Leads the settlement process of loan syndications, secondary loan trades, direct lending
  • Maintain the investment book of record by researching and resolving discrepancies in daily cash and position reconciliations
  • Knowledge of vendor systems including, but not limited to, Solvas, Digitize, Wall Street Office, Advent Geneva and Clear Par
  • Gain understanding of all applicable portfolios and deal related documentation to ensure adequate controls are in place and guidelines are followed
  • Collaborate closely with Administrative Agents, Borrowers and Legal with regards to KYC documentation, including administrative details, tax and fund formation documents
  • Possess a strong understanding of how loan documentation is maintained and distributed, including handling amendments, restructures, and voting requirements.
  • Interact with Portfolio Management, NAV Oversight, and Client Servicing / Reporting teams as needed to develop gold standard operating models
  • Support the onboarding of new alternative investor mandates, investments, and vehicles, including advising & implementing processes for investment/trade lifecycle management, cash management, reporting, and reconciliation
  • Work with business teams to craft and implement enhanced procedures to support cash management, capital activity, and investment funding processes
