POSITION OVERVIEW

The Gallery Consultant supports a dynamic showroom environment focused on slabs, sinks, and related materials. This role blends customer interaction with operational support—helping clients with product selection, maintaining showroom presentation, and assisting with inventory and logistics. Associates may work with designers, remodelers, builders, and retail customers, including occasional showroom hours on Saturdays.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• 3 - 5 years’ experience/hands-on knowledge within construction industry product sales
• Self-motivated, driven to close sales
• Ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside of the Company
• Computer literate; working knowledge of MS Office
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide an exceptional showroom experience for clients
• Assist customers on the showroom floor
• Assist in answering phones
• Assist customers over the phone
• Assist customers via email
• Maintain and clean specific area of the showroom
• Assist with inventory as required
• Follow up phone calls to secure orders
• Participate in after hour events and sponsorships as required
• Resolve customer issues
• Enter orders into computer system, work with production regarding order, delivery, installation
• Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
• Assist in collections as necessary
