Gallery Associate (Part-Time) Job Description Quirk Gallery is seeking an energetic, experienced, and hands on Museum Associate to join our team! JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Guest Engagement: Greet and assist customers, answer questions about gallery and shop offerings, keep guest-facing areas clean and tidy Retail inventory: Add new items to POS system, assist with tagging and merchandising; monthly inventory count / provide retail invoices to accounting at EOM Online shop: Manage online shop; ensure quantities are accurate, take creative photos of products, fulfill online orders as needed Promotion / social media: Assist with promoting events; create graphics, post to IG & local online news outlets; share images & copy with marketing team for hotel website/socials, create email campaigns featuring new artwork and retail items Catalog artwork: Assist with photographing and adding new work to ArtCloud as needed; wrap and coordinate pickup / shipment of purchased artwork KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Minimum 1 year experience in a gallery, museum, or relevant customer service setting. * Eagerness to learn about our represented artists and promote their work * Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays and evening events as needed.

The role involves engaging with gallery guests, managing retail and online shop inventory, and promoting events via social media. Additionally, the representative is responsible for cataloging artwork and coordinating the shipment of purchased pieces.
