Your new role: Reporting to the Customer Service and Operations Team Leader, the Galvanising Customer Service Officer will work within a supportive team and play an integral role in building effective relationships with both our external and internal customers, process customer purchase orders by creating factory work orders, facilitating quotations and attending to other sales related activities. This role is responsible for: Delivering high quality customer service including through phone calls, emails, and in person Timely preparation and sending of customer quotes Creating work orders, invoicing, archiving, creating purchase orders and other general administrative duties Accurate and efficient data entry and completion of administrative tasks Other tasks required to support the galvanising sales department as requested by management You will bring: Effective communication and presentation skills Previous experience in a customer service role (advantageous) Previous experience dealing with wholesalers, customers and distributors within the electrical, mechanical or similar industries (advantageous) Passionate about customer service Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office High regard for safety and compliance of all OHSE policies and procedures Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Why join us?
