What You'll Be Doing: You'll be involved in every step of the galvanizing journey - helping to protect steel products used across the UK and beyond. Preparing and securing steel products to jigs for galvanizing Operating overhead cranes (training provided) Dipping steel into molten zinc to protect against corrosion Finishing and inspecting products for top-quality standards Ensuring your work area remains clean, organised, and safe Whether you're in the jigging area, working at the galvanizing baths, or finishing in the fettling bay, you’ll be part of a crucial process that keeps the UK’s infrastructure strong and rust-free. What We're Looking For: We’re looking for positive, hands-on team players who aren’t afraid of a bit of heavy lifting and who enjoy getting stuck in. ✅ A strong work ethic and “can-do” attitude ✅ Willingness to work in a manual, physical environment ✅ Team spirit and good communication skills ✅ Reliability and a focus on safety ✅ Previous experience in manufacturing or galvanizing is a plus – but not essential Full training is provided – all we ask for is your energy, commitment, and drive to learn.

Responsibilities

Operatives will be involved in the entire galvanizing process, which includes preparing and securing steel products to jigs, dipping them into molten zinc, and finishing/inspecting the final products for quality standards. Key duties also involve operating overhead cranes and maintaining a clean, safe work area.
