QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Game Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Game Artist or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D art creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Maya, Blender).
  • Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience with texture mapping, shading, and lighting techniques.
  • Solid knowledge of animation principles for game assets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a creative team.
  • Passion for gaming and staying current with industry trends.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience with virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) art development.
  • Familiarity with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Knowledge of shader programming and special effects.
  • Experience with user interface (UI) design for games.
  • Previous experience with mobile or console game development.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with game designers to understand and interpret visual concepts.
  • Create 2D and 3D game assets, including characters, environments, and props.
  • Design and illustrate concept art for game development.
  • Collaborate with animators to create character animations.
  • Ensure visual consistency and quality throughout the game development process.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Work closely with developers to integrate art assets into game engines.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback from the development team.
  • Contribute to the overall visual style of the game.
