Game Day Producer
Overview
The USPBL at Jimmy John’s Field is seeking a Game Day Producer for the 2025 baseball season. This person is responsible for overseeing the live, real-time aspects of in-game elements. They ensure a smooth game day experience, manage in-game events, and make crucial decisions during the game to maintain fan engagement and immersion. They will work closely with the Marketing and Sponsorship team.

Responsibilities

  • Live game management: Orchestrate in-game events, scripted sequences, environmental changes to maintain fan excitement and progression.
  • Script writing: Will work with marketing and sponsorship team to write all game scripts and run downs to maximize the fan experience and partnership satisfaction.
  • Game pacing and flow: Monitor game rhythm and adjusting elements as needed to optimize fan experience. Serve as director of all videoboard content including the video open, in-game features and other video elements.
  • Real time decision making: Adapting to unexpected situations during the game.
  • Videoboard operation: General knowledge of how to use and operate the videoboard to help trouble shoot if problems arise.
  • Audio board operation: General knowledge of how to use and operate audio system to help trouble shoot if problems arise.
  • Performance optimization: Monitoring game performance during live play to address technical issues impacting the game.
  • Team management: Oversee a team of interns. Assist in leading pre-game meetings for all show elements.
