POSITION OVERVIEW:

With strong programming skills, you will work closely with other serious game designers and other engineers to implement, debug and refine core features of training games and other software solutions. This team member must be able to collaborate effectively with a small, high- energy team of artists, designers, and engineers. You will build gaming applications for our users, partners, and other team members. Those applications can range from business-critical internal tools to mobile websites, with opportunities to work with a variety of languages and technologies. You will work closely with, and incorporate feedback from, customers, product management, interaction designers, and back-end engineers.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with Unity in a production environment and Unity source code.
  • Very strong, Unity, C# and C++ skills.
  • Experience implementing and debugging multithreaded code along with working in the Data-Oriented Design development paradigm.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and optimizing Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS applications.
  • Passion for creating new, innovative, and groundbreaking user experiences
  • Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent experience
  • Simulated physics: cloth, springs, gravity flocking, particle systems experience (desired)
  • Great written communication and documentation abilities.

EDUCATION PREFERRED (INTERNSHIP - WORKING TOWARDS A BACHELOR DEGREE):

  • Upper-division undergraduate or graduate Computer Science (CS) student
