POSITION OVERVIEW

The software developer will be involved in an array of technical challenges including creating exciting, engaging products with innovative game concepts, while conforming to quality, regulatory, and jurisdictional requirements. This role sits in a cross-functional game development team including Producers, Project Managers, Graphic Artists, Mathematicians, Software Developers, Technical Artists and Test Engineers.
This role supports UK and International Casino games and products for other specialty markets. Central to the position is the candidate’s high degree of technical skill, flair for game development and ability to drive results.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver the game designer’s vision through understanding, designing and implementing game mechanics, paying particular attention to player experience.
  • Work in partnership with Graphics, Maths, and PA teams to design, develop, and maintain new and existing products.
  • Share code and technical knowledge among the wider team.
  • Proactively extend technical skills and knowledge where necessary.
  • Adhere to established code standards and conventions.
  • Properly test, debug, and fix defective game code.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Participate in the internal and external release of games to testing agencies.
  • Work with the project manager to ensure timely delivery of products.
