WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We’re seeking a Game Software Engineer who thrives in small teams and loves building impactful, user-focused experiences. You’ll be the technical lead on this greenfield project, working closely with the founder and potentially additional AI collaborators.

IDEAL SKILLS:

  • Proficient in C# (Unity) or C++ (Unreal Engine)
  • Experience with audio processing, MIDI, or real-time input systems
  • Familiarity with AI or ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) — a plus!
  • Experience building and shipping cross-platform mobile games
  • Comfortable working autonomously and collaborating asynchronously
Responsibilities
  • Build the core gameplay mechanics in Unity or Unreal Engine (mobile/tablet focus)
  • Integrate real-time audio input to recognize guitar notes
  • Implement educational modules (tutorial mode, rhythm training)
  • Support features like Free Play, Challenge Mode, and Song Importing
  • Optimize performance for smooth mobile/tablet gameplay
  • Collaborate on game design, UX, and future updates
