Job Description NETENT is looking for an experienced Localization Specialist with professional skills and a proactive life attitude, interested in continuously improving quality and gaming experience of the Netent games. Our Localization Specialists are expected to: · Support product owners and peers during game production by writing and advising on texts and visuals to be used in new products. · Prepare and coordinate the localization of game-related texts by acting as a liaison between the stakeholders and third-party localization companies. · Manage localization projects in the 40+ languages we support and address any localization-related issues. · Deploy and verify localizations and changes to the required environments. · Test games and features in all supported languages by assessing texts and visuals displayed in-game. · Understand all current and new products to be able to spot deficiencies, provide solutions, and ensure consistency and quality of deliverables. · Provide assistance in modifying various texts/labels/terms for integrated software. · Systemize the translation process by unifying game texts and minimizing manual efforts where possible. · Perform other duties, as asked by the manager, which are related to this position and which meet the qualifications. Qualifications To succeed in this role you should have: · High proficiency in English (both written and verbal) paired with skills in clear and effective communication. · Previous experience with localization or translation projects. · Experience in technical writing, copywriting, content writing or other forms of publication which demonstrate your command of written English. · Localization management experience, familiarity with TMS, CAT and LQA tools. · Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, XML/HTML. · Attention to detail and precision. · The ability to work on a tight schedule when required. · The ability to work in a team and independently. As a plus: · University degree in linguistics or related areas. · Good knowledge of Confluence and Jira. · Experience in working with Git. · Experience in quality assurance. · Experience or interest in the online gaming industry Who are you?
