Position: Game Master / Maintenance Assistant
Location: EXIT Gastown, Vancouver, BC
Do you love puzzles, have a knack for fixing things, and enjoy working with people? EXIT Gastown is looking for a hands-on, friendly Game Master who can help deliver unforgettable escape room experiences and keep our rooms running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys moderate handiwork, has basic electrical knowledge, and can dabble in graphic design. Previous escape room experience is an asset, but not required - we’ll provide the training!

As a Game Master at EXIT Gastown, you’ll:

• Greet and guide guests through their escape room adventures.
• Monitor games, give hints, and reset rooms between groups.
• Do light-to-moderate handiwork , fixing props, puzzles, and gadgets.
• Handle basic electrical work like replacing wires, switches, or batteries.
• Keep rooms and equipment in top shape.
• Occasionally help with simple design tasks (e.g., posters, signs) using Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator or Canva.

You should have:

• Customer service experience.
• Basic repair and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Comfort using basic tools (screwdrivers, drills, etc.).
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Bonus if you have:

• Experience in escape rooms or attractions.
• Skills with puzzles, electronics, or props.
