THE ROLE

Game Officers (GOs) are appointed as Authorised Officers under the Game Management Act 2014 and exercise law enforcement powers relating to the compliance of game hunting activities. GOs engage with a variety of stakeholders, including government and community groups under direction from Team Leaders and Senior Game Officers (SGOs) to deliver high quality community-focussed, statewide compliance services within Victoria. In accordance with state-wide strategic objectives and priorities, GOs work collaboratively in small regionally based teams and actively contribute and support programs and projects across the broader organisation.
