Job Description As our Quality Assurance department is expanding, we are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Game Tester for our QA team in Erlangen, Germany. You will closely work with your surrounding QA team and report to the QA Lead. Our QA team defines best practices to deliver a polished, immersive experience to our global community of players. Job Responsibilities Identify, analyse, and log bugs in our database with clear and detailed reports Conduct functionality tests on game features across multiple console platforms Verify bug fixes implemented by developers through regression and confirmation testing Test user-created mods submitted by our player community Investigate player-reported issues to assist in troubleshooting and resolution Use creative problem-solving to find new and imaginative ways to break our games Design test strategies for various aspects of the game, determining what needs testing and how to approach it Apply industry best practices, research multiple sources of information, and leverage your expertise to improve testing methods Analyse existing workflows and processes, drive improvements and knowledge-sharing across the QA team Provide feedback on game design, suggesting improvements or refinements to the development team Qualifications Expected Qualifications Some experience in a game development studio (internship, freelance, or other relevant roles) A strong passion for video games Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English Knowledge of Farming Simulator What would be a plus? Experience with Mantis bug tracking software Familiarity with Sony and Microsoft platforms, as well as cross-platform gaming A deep love for farming and racing games and experience with Farming and racing simulators Knowledge of or a strong interest in agricultural machinery, cars and motorsports Additional Information What do we offer?
