It is also home to the Black Budget development team, who are busy working on our upcoming new title. As the Gameplay Technical Animator, you will mostly work between the Gameplay and Art Direction. You will be responsible for building, refining, and optimizing art and animation processes for our new project, creating innovative and reliable solutions to support our new game, ‘Project Black Budget’. Basic Roles and Responsibilities: Tailoring our Animation pipeline, looking for opportunities to improve it and provide solutions for technical animation problems. Implementing best practices to ensure a streamlined workflow and the success of the Animation team. Collaborating closely with Animators, Artists and Game Designers to understand our animation requirements and implementing solutions that align with our artistic and technical goals. Ensure that animations meet both artistic and technical specifications and perform optimally in-game. Required experience: Experience with Unreal 5’s animation systems. Experience in a similar position within the games industry, preferably in a AAA studio. Good familiarity with Maya and MotionBuilder. Proficiency in verbal and written English. “Nice to have” experience: Experience with Python. A passion for Art and Technology, including current and cutting-edge Animation technology. You have experience with the Motion Capture processes and its pipelines.
