Orbit Workforce Solutions Ltd is recruiting for an experienced gang of 2-3 Groundworkers for an ongoing project in Harrogate.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working together as a groundworks gang.
• Must hold valid tickets for operating a digger, dumper, and other relevant site machinery.
• Must already be working as a team to ensure smooth coordination and efficiency on-site.
• Valid CSCS cards for all team members are essential.
• Proven ability to lay pin kerbs, complete flagging works, and construct road kerbs to a high standard.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding manual labour.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within the team and with supervisors.
• A proactive approach to health and safety, consistently following site regulations and best practices.
• Flexibility regarding working hours to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively to contribute to project progress.

• Lay pin kerbs accurately and efficiently, ensuring alignment and finish meet required standards.
• Complete all flagging works, including preparing surfaces, laying slabs, and finishing to a high quality.
• Construct and finish road kerbs to a high standard, ensuring durability and compliance with project specifications.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining the construction site, keeping the work area clean and safe.
• Use hand tools and basic machinery safely and effectively to support groundworks tasks.
• Carry out manual handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials as required.
• Work collaboratively under the direction of supervisors and skilled tradespeople to meet project deadlines.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for the entire team.
