Educate Excellence is a leading tuition centre based in Streatham, specialising in 11+, SATs, and GCSE preparation for students aged 5–16. We are more than just a tuition centre – we are a community-driven organisation dedicated to giving every child the support and confidence they need to thrive academically and personally.
We are now recruiting Gap Year Interns for a 12-month paid position (24–40 hours per week), ideal for students looking to grow, serve, and learn before starting university.

THE CANDIDATE:

We are looking for hard-working and reliable individuals who are passionate about education and making a difference in the community. Ideal candidates would be strong communicators who enjoy working with children and are organised and self-motivated team players. We’re also looking for someone who’s ready to jump in with both feet, unafraid take initiative, and embrace every opportunity to learn and grow within the role.

As a member of the Educate Excellence Team, you will have the opportunity to gain a plethora of different professional skills such as:

  • Teaching and supporting students in Maths, English, or Science.
  • Assisting in organising, managing and running community events, parent workshops, and staff trainings.
  • Working alongside a professional admin and teaching team – gaining insight into scheduling, communications, operations and planning.
  • Mentoring younger students and shaping young minds.
  • Acting as an educational consultant, helping families make informed choices about learning.
  • Developing sales and communication skills by guiding parents through our services
