SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced garage door sales professional to join our team at The Garage Door Depot®. In this role, you will be responsible for selling garage doors to customers in their homes, from pre-set appointments. Your expertise will help ensure our customers receive the highest level of service and are treated with respect. Our Training Program was built to help you succeed, with supervisory and management positions available in the future

REQUIREMENTS

  • Technician and/or Sales Experience in the garage door industry or a similar field.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must have a vehicle and a current driver’s license
  • Attention to detail and strong time management skills
  • Strong working knowledge of what’s required to supply quotes and learn our software and related to garage door systems. Soft sales techniques to close sales.

Responsibilities
  • Present to customers at pre-set appointments and consultatively sell garage doors and Maintenance Programs.
  • Build new clients through referral and prospecting.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions.
  • Quote and share detailed information on styles, colours and garage door materials using company iPad and software programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of opportunity status, project timeline, handle concerns, and problem solve
  • Attend company sales and product knowledge training.
