Position Overview: OGD Overhead Garage Door is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our team as Garage Door Technicians. In this position, technicians will provide garage door repair, installation, and maintenance services for residential customers while delivering a high level of customer service and professionalism. Compensation is commission-based, offering strong earning potential for driven individuals. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who are mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and interested in building a performance-driven career. No prior garage door experience is required — paid training is provided. Responsibilities: Perform residential garage door repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance Diagnose customer concerns and provide effective solutions in a professional manner Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Maintain a high level of customer service throughout each job Follow all company safety protocols and procedures Operate hand tools, power tools, and ladders up to 8 feet Remove and haul away old garage doors and equipment Maintain accurate job documentation and work order updates Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools and equipment Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work within the selected market area Must be willing to travel for a 10-day new hire training program in Fort Worth, TX, or Atlanta, GA, followed by a one-week ride-along session in Indianapolis, IN.
