Job Summary: Installation and repairs of garage doors and door systems.
Essential Competencies: Problem solving, communication skills, team oriented and results oriented.
Working Conditions: Construction job site environment, very active, heavy lifting, required to work in all weather conditions.
Education/Experience: High School, experience with a preference to those who have experience in the garage door industry.
Technical Skills: Mechanical aptitude, basic carpentry skills for framing and basic knowledge of electrical components and their functions, valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract.
Preferred but not required (will train): WHMIS, forklift, first aid certification, fall arrest training, scissor lift training.
