Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Sales team member is responsible for sales based on the customers’ needs & providing a positive and transparent sales experience. They will work with the Garage Division Team.
The garages sales includes meeting with clients to help develop a design that suits the needs outlined. The design would then be subject to any engineering requirements, as well as a review of the governing bylaws and building codes which would provide the final design. You will walk the client through the steps of the quoting and building procedures with information allowing them to make an informed decision.
The garage sales aspect includes quoting garages and garage suites based on the information provided, working with clients to finalize contracts, executing the contract, finalizing any specific details required and maintaining a positive relationship with the clients.

Pay will be commensurate with experience
Secondary duties will be sales and monitoring of inventory, to provide advertising photos of inventory, help price inventory with labels. To prepare inventory for sale with written verbiage, preparation, display and advertising.
· 1 YEAR SALES EXPERIENCE
· Microsoft Office Experience a necessity;
· Familiarity with Point of Sale software
· Advanced communication skills
· Ability to multitask and switch focus quickly
· Strong decision-making abilities
· Knowledge of construction and building technology /terminology.
· Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective clients
· Demonstrated skill in negotiating and closing on sales contracts
· Personal vehicle and valid driver license for site visits
· Ability to be very organized
· Ability to be a team player
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS THAT ARE AN ASSET TO POSITION
· Lumber yard experience
· Knowledge of local building codes and bylaws.
· Construction experience
· Strong decision-making abilities
· Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective clients
· Diploma or Degree in Architectural, Engineering or Construction Technology is desirable.
Ukrainian language is an asset
· Photography

Responsibilities:
· Create garage and garage suite quotes by determining customer needs based on their input & feedback and based on the engineering requirements, governing bylaws & building codes,
· Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs,
· Site visits as required- if you are experienced in Building codes and technologies
· Prepare and execute client contracts including disclaimer and notes of interest,
· Aid with adjusting contracts [Change Orders] and designs to meet the changing needs of clients,
· Work with team members to ensure design is implemented correctly,
· Prepare paperwork associated with material and trade purchase orders,
· Maintain an organized and accessible file system,
· Monitor the garage project/ delivery schedules to keep projects on track,
· Aid in media postings to Kijiji, newspapers, flyers, signs,
· Follow up individual leads to sales as provided by Garage Sales Manager,
· Deliver excellent customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction,
· Follow up with clients,
· Provide assistance to executives and management team members when necessary.
