Job Overview:
THURSDAY-SATURDAY 3pm-11pm
We are seeking a skilled Garde Manger to join our team and work under the tutelage of Chef Will Wheeler. The Garde Manger will be responsible for preparing cold dishes, salads, dressings, and desserts in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Duties:
- Prepare and assemble cold dishes such as salads, charcuterie boards, and small plates
- Create dressings, sauces, and garnishes
- Ensure food presentation meets the restaurant’s standards
- Assist with inventory control
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a professional kitchen setting
- Knowledge of fine dining practices and kitchen management
- Familiarity with restaurant management procedures
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Understanding of food handling guidelines
