The Garden Center Appointment Scheduler is responsible for managing and coordinating client appointments for consultations, landscaping projects, and garden center services. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service while optimizing the scheduling process to ensure efficiency and client satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in business administration or customer service.
Previous experience in scheduling, customer service, or administrative support.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Proficient in scheduling software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Friendly, professional demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Schedule and confirm client appointments for consultations, installations, and garden center services.
  • Coordinate with landscape designers, sales teams, and installation crews to align availability with client needs.
  • Maintain and update the appointment calendar to avoid conflicts and ensure timely service delivery.
  • Provide clients with detailed information about available services, products, and seasonal promotions.
  • Follow up with clients to confirm appointments, send reminders, and reschedule as needed.
  • Track appointment-related metrics and provide reports to management.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, client record maintenance, and inventory scheduling for appointments requiring specific materials.
  • Address client questions and concerns professionally, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department.
