Description Receiver Teammate Your Future Role: Our Receiver teammates fill a critical role in the accuracy of our inventory through receiving and transferring activities for our retail stores. This active, outdoor role is always on the move completing activities from driving a fork lift, to detail check in of product, and restocking our inventory. Teammates in the position communicate with customers frequently throughout the day, ring up transactions via our Point of Sale System and ensure our team provides excellent customer service from start to finish. This position operates equipment such as fork lifts and super trucks with lift gates. This position may be a key carrier role pending experience. Your Specific Job Responsibilities: Upholds Moana Nursery's strict safety policies Shows up on time ready work Detail check in of products Communicates regularly with management, accounting and merchant team any discrepancies Understanding of basic plant care needs Completes thorough and accurate pre-trip safety checks on equipment Communicates regularly with manager to ensure Preventative Maintenance is completed regularly Answers customer questions about our products and services Promptly responds to customer needs, requests for service or assistance Communicates using radios to other Moana teammates Drives courteously and defensively every day Carefully loads product into vehicles and unloads them safely for our customers Lifts and moves heavy objects such as trees, bags of soil Communicates with customers when in route or if there is a delay Has the ability and willingness to interact with and provide exceptional customer service to our customers Physical Requirements & Activity: Applicant must be able to lift 50 lbs Applicant must be able to work outdoors for an extended period of time Applicant must be able to work on their feet for an extended period of time Expertise & Experience Requirements: Must be 21 to drive Proficient in basic level computer skills Organized and detailed Experience for this role is not necessary, but a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are Nice To Have Skills or Experiences: Experience working a Point of Sale system Experience in the landscaping industry Your Future Work Schedule: Our retail stores are open 7 days a week and we are busiest on the weekend. We are looking for teammates that can work during the week, over the weekends and be flexible to accommodate the changing retail environment. Our Rock Yard opens at 7am Monday - Friday and later on the weekends. Please make sure you list your availability on the application. Your Future Salary & Benefits: The starting rate for this position is $18.00 per hour and increases based on experience, expertise and responsibilities.
