Andamar Landscapes is a garden maintenance company that has been running for over 14 years.
We look after the gardens of over 60 retirement properties and private customers gardens.
We pride ourselves in the fact that 95% of our business comes from recommendations and we have had a lot of our customers for over ten years.
Currently looking for 2 people to join our current team of 6 loyal staff. as a team member. This is an all weather role.

TEAM LEADER ROLE: PLEASE ONLY APPLY FOR THIS IF YOU HAVE RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR ROLE AND HAVE GOOD PLANT KNOWLEDGE £13.00-£13.50 PER HOUR

REPORTS TO: Garden maintenance manager.

SUITABLE APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO ATTEND A PAID TRIAL DAY TO DEMONSTRATE THEIR ABILITIES AND SEE HOW THEY FIT IN WITH THE TEAM.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE: TEAM MEMBER ROLE £12.50 PER HOUR

To carrying out grounds maintenance tasks, contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of communal gardens and private residences.
REPORTS TO: Garden maintenance manager.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To complete garden maintenance tasks such as.
Weeding, digging, strimming, mowing, hedge cutting, pruning and disposing of green waste.
To ensure all company equipment and vehicles are kept in good condition and clean by all staff.
Be an ambassador for the company at all times in manner and appearance.
The candidate would be responsible for maintaining the high standard of work we currently carry out.
The ideal candidate will:
Have good plant knowledge.
Be used to using all petrol garden machinery.
Be a team player.
Have good people skills

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To Supervise and assist a team to complete garden maintenance tasks such as.
Weeding, digging, strimming, mowing, hedge cutting, pruning and disposing of green waste.
To assist others to use a variety of basic machinery.
To ensure all company equipment and vehicles are kept in good condition and clean by all staff.
To act as a role model to other team members, and adopt a lead by example way of working.
To liaise with customers regarding what they would like achieved, whilst at their property.
Be an ambassador for the company at all times in manner and appearance.
The candidate would be responsible for maintaining the high standard of work we currently carry out and supervising other staff to carry out there role.
The ideal candidate will:
Have good plant knowledge.
Been in a similar role for over 3 years
Be used to using all petrol garden machinery.
Be a team player.
Lead by example.
Have good people skills and able to communicate with customers an a daily basis.
A full UK driving licence and have transport to get to meeting place each day
