Description

About the Role
Are you physically fit, enjoy working outdoors, and ready to get stuck into hands-on work? Want more than just a job — something you can grow with?
We’re a small but growing garden maintenance business looking for a dependable and motivated individual to join us. This is a physical, outdoor role that goes far beyond basic gardening — it’s an opportunity to contribute to the development of a business and learn what it takes to run one yourself.
No formal experience? No problem — if you’re reliable, willing to learn, and have a great attitude, we want to hear from you.

Important Requirement
A full, valid UK driver’s license is required — this is non-negotiable. You must be able to travel to jobs independently or drive the work vehicle if needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Garden maintenance: mowing, pruning, planting, clearing, etc.
  • Using tools and basic machinery (training provided)
  • Interacting professionally with clients on-site
  • Tackling non-traditional jobs — whatever needs doing to get the job done
  • Supporting wider aspects of the business:
  • Social media (optional but a bonus)
  • Admin and organisation (as needed)
  • Business development tasks (with training)

What We’re Looking For

  • Physically fit and comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Friendly and presentable with good communication skills
  • Curious and willing to learn — ideally someone with ambition
  • Comfortable taking on unusual or varied tasks
  • Must have a full UK driver’s license
  • Basic knowledge of tools/machinery is a bonus, but not essential

What You’ll Get

  • Competitive pay, dependent on experience
  • Flexible hours — full-time or part-time considered
  • Mentorship and training in gardening and small business operations
  • Real opportunity to grow into a leadership role
  • A varied, interesting job that changes day to day
  • The chance to be part of something being built from the ground up

This Role Is For You If…

  • You’re not afraid of hard work
  • You enjoy being outdoors and staying active
  • You’re reliable, positive, and respectful
  • You want more than just a wage — you’re looking to build something
  • You’re interested in how a business works and want to be involved beyond the tools

How to Apply

Send your CV (if you have one) or a short message explaining:

  • Who you are
  • Why you’re interested
  • Your availability
  • Whether you have a valid driver’s license

We care more about mindset and reliability than perfect experience, so if you’re keen — apply now!
