Our Buildings & Grounds department at Basin Harbor is seeking an experienced, Summer-season Gardener and Landscaper to plant and care for our gardenscapes here at Basin Harbor! Requirements Preference given to candidate with 4 or more years experience as a gardener working with native plants and flowers, Master Gardener preferred. Essential Functions Qualifications and Competencies: Strong verbal and written English communication Critical evaluation skills A commitment to ethical practice and legal compliance Valid Driver’s License Related Experience Ability to work independently or as a member of a team Resourcefulness and “outside-the-box” thinking Pride of workmanship Must be willing and able to pass a background check. Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed. Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with peers and staff. Must be knowledge of and operate within the guidelines of the Basin Harbor Safety programs. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Have the stamina to work up to 10+ hours: sitting, standing and walking Ability to bend, stoop, lift up to 25lbs, reach overhead and perform repetitive motion May involve walking between venues and climbing stairs between floors
