JOB OVERVIEW

Full time or part time gardener required. Flexible working available within a friendly team.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in horticulture and possess the skills necessary to maintain and enhance outdoor spaces. This role involves various gardening tasks, ensuring that our gardens are healthy, vibrant, and aesthetically pleasing.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in gardening is essential.
  • Familiarity with growing techniques for various plants and flowers is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to gardening tasks.
  • A good understanding of irrigation systems and groundskeeping practices will be beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for working outdoors are essential qualities for success in this role.
  • Driving licence essential

  • DBS check and willingness to undertake compatibility survey ( DISC )

Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and maintain a variety of plants, flowers, and shrubs within designated garden areas.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively and safely for planting, pruning, and general garden maintenance.
  • Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and gardens.
  • Conduct regular groundskeeping activities, including mowing lawns, weeding, and mulching.
  • Assist in landscape maintenance projects to enhance the overall appearance of outdoor spaces.
  • Monitor plant health and identify any pest or disease issues, taking appropriate action as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and execute seasonal planting schedules.
  • Ability to communicate with clients politely and effectively and feed back as necessary
