Training opportunity!
Crew will work closely with principle gardener/lead
Looking for a highly motivated crew person with keen interest in plants and soil.
We build specialty gardens that require more knowledge than most others.
Crew are expected to ask questions when they don’t know something or can’t remember.
Strength and endurance, positive attitude, good communication with clients and team members, heat/cold/wet tolerance.
We specialize in sustainable practices and design; close co-operation with our knowledgeable clients; small downtown gardens.
No lawn care, no blowers.
Special interest in using native shrubs, trees and perennials.
Ability to learn large volumes of information quickly (esp. if new to profession)
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
